Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a picture-perfect wedding? As a wedding planner, each day is a unique journey filled with excitement, challenges, and moments of fun. In this blog post, join me, Keshira Creative Events on a virtual tour of a typical day in the life of a wedding planner, and discover the passion and dedication that goes into orchestrating unforgettable celebrations. What I have written below is the ideal……not every day goes to plan of course, I’m human just like you!

Morning Preparations: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM

The day starts early as I dive into emails and messages. Responding promptly ensures clear communication with clients, suppliers, and the entire wedding team. With a cuppa in hand, I review the day’s schedule and finalise any last-minute details.

Supplier Coordination: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

A significant portion of the morning is dedicated to coordinating with suppliers. From florists to photographers, ensuring everyone is on the same page is crucial. This involves confirming delivery times, addressing any concerns, and making sure everyone is aware of the overall vision for the day.

Client Meetings: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Midday is often reserved for client meetings. Whether in person or via video call, these meetings allow me to connect with couples, understand their needs, and provide updates on the planning progress. It’s a collaborative process, and I love having the opportunity to bring their dream wedding to life.

Lunch Break: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Taking a break is essential to recharge for the afternoon. Lunchtime provides a moment to reflect on the morning’s accomplishments and prepare for the tasks ahead. And eat yummy food!

Venue Visits and Supplier Meetings: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Afternoons are frequently spent visiting venues or meeting suppliers. This hands-on approach ensures that every detail aligns with the couple’s vision. It’s also a chance to troubleshoot potential challenges and make adjustments to guarantee a flawless event. Constantly meeting new suppliers and understanding the local area means I always have an idea for couples when they ask.

Final Preparations: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

As the big day approaches, the late afternoon is dedicated to final preparations. This involves confirming timelines, checking in with vendors one last time, and addressing any unforeseen issues. It’s about leaving no stone unturned to ensure a seamless wedding day.
